Discover the secrets of perfume-making in Paris
As the sweet smell of spring fills the air, Pavillon des Lettres is inviting guests to follow their noses and discover the art of perfume-making in a brand-new partnership with Musée du Parfum. During a fragrance-filled weekend, aroma enthusiasts will learn all about the world of perfume, take part in a perfume-making masterclass and create their very own signature scent…
The scented adventure will begin with a guided tour of the Musée du Parfum; guests will learn the history behind the world of perfumery, the science of ingredients and essences and the essential techniques of smell, composition and evaluation. Inspired by their new-found knowledge, guests will enjoy a 90-minute masterclass, focussed on the composition and personalisation of an Eau de Cologne. Led by an expert parfumier, guests will learn how to create a unique fragrance using nine essences, walking away with a personalised perfume, signed diploma and Fragonard bag and apron.
